See this content in the original post

If you’re feeling stressed to the bone stuck inside quarantine, this is for you!

You pace your home a million times a day looking for your sanity or are so full of energy you don’t know what to do with it. I can truly relate, I’ve been there too many times to count. Today, I’m sharing with you my FOUR best tips to stay healthy during quarantine and social distancing.

It’s time to save yourself from the quarantine headache! Let’s get to it!

Get outside

Even if you live in an apartment with a small balcony, you can sit on a chair and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while being in the comfort of your own home. This allows you to get in some much-needed vitamin D which can help boost our mood and sitting in the sunshine in itself just feels amazing so allow yourself to breathe fresh air from outside and enjoy it! Put on some music and read a book or journal to pass some time while you sit outside.

If you have a backyard, set up a living room with your patio furniture or lay out a towel and sunbathe in your cutest bikini with an ice-cold drink. Get your mind somewhere else and imagine you’re in the Bahamas or Bora Bora for a vacation. This is to help shift your mind to be somewhere else for just a little while to get it off all the stress you’re feeling lately.

  Move your body

Many people believe that you have to do a strict workout in order for the exercise to count, but I’m here to tell you that there are other ways to do it if you dread traditional workouts. Did you know that cleaning or gardening is considered exercise? As minimal as the effort maybe, you’re still moving your body and burning off energy. There are also lots of different types of exercises so have a variety of options to suit you best.

Youtube is an incredible resource for all kinds of workouts from Zumba, strength fitness classes, yoga, kickboxing workouts and so much more. It can also be something as simple as putting on your favorite playlist and dancing to it. No one’s watching, so dance your heart out babe!

If you have a park nearby, go for a walk to get out in nature and move your legs. It may not be a vigorous workout by any means but you can enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, and be somewhere else besides your home. Being cooped up so much, just being outside for a short period of time shows us how we take such simple amenities for granted.

Daily gratitude list

Doing a daily gratitude list has changed my life immensely! Go get yourself a gorgeous journal you’re obsessed with and love and start making a daily gratitude list. Writing down at least three things you are grateful for in your life every day switches your mindset into positivity and into what you have rather than what you don’t. This creates a boost in your mood and overall happiness because when we think about everything we don’t have we get sad, and when you think about all the amazing things you have in your life, you shift into gratefulness and am happier.

The more you make a gratitude list, the faster you’re going to see results in your mood and overall attitude towards everything. You’re going to have less to complain about and also feeling more full about your life. This is just like creating a new habit into your current lifestyle and making it a priority to do it every day, it will become a no brainer once it’s an ingrained habit.

When you make a list of at least three things you’re grateful for every day, it becomes easier every time you do it. Also, give yourself some grace if you can only think of three things at the start for a while and you can repeat them the next day. It’s alright to repeat items on your list for the next day. It’s quite common to write down similar things on your gratitude list every day.

Sexy time

If you’re not taking time for yourself to have your own private me time and play, you’re totally missing out. When we have this private time to ourselves, we have the opportunity to pleasure ourselves and of course have an orgasm which has so many benefits to it in itself! You get to release stress and other negative energy while also experiencing that feeling of euphoria and pleasure.

There’s also the bonus if you’re in quarantine with your partner and you two can have your own private time to yourselves and experiment and pleasure one another. This also gives you the opportunity to connect on that insane physical and emotional level to strengthen that bond between you two.

I hope you enjoyed my four favorite tips for staying healthy. I encourage you to try them out tomorrow or one of them even today to make quarantine more bearable for you. Which tip was your favorite? Comment with your thoughts below!
